El Oasis, is given by name to a farm located at 2,150 meters above sea level in the municipality of Ortega-Tolima where, for 6 years, very high quality coffees have been produced.


In the year 2017 Fernando Bocanegra is motivated by a great friend of his to enter the subject of coffee, this friend had great experience since he had worked in several coffee farms in different roles, although Fernando thought about it a lot due to his inexperience, he bet him leaving his profession. chef aside and devoting himself to this other great world of coffee growing.


This is how they found a farm with exceptional climate and soil conditions where they knew they would start their new project dedicated to coffee, the idea that motivated them was always to undertake something different that would stand out above the traditional coffee productions in the area, This is how, by interacting with other producers, they get the seeds to start experimenting and creating.

Everything was going well until COVID arrived and the farm at that time was in charge of 3 employees who were not involved in the farm as they expected, so they thought that their dream of their farm would end there… however, after thinking about it a lot, they decided to continue and Fernando's partner did not hesitate to go live on the farm and carry out the business.


A new cycle begins for the farm, restructuring processes, areas and personnel; processes are standardised in search of a new type of trade. Fernando has been in charge of the commercial and administrative part, although he has learned a lot from the work of a coffee grower, he has a clear objective and is determined to continue taking his coffee to many places where not only the coffee itself is valued but also the whole story of work, dedication and love behind it.
